Raise awareness of the 16 beach neighborhoods of South Walton, FL in key drive as well as emerging fly-in markets while also promoting off-season and beyond-the-beach travel.

SOLUTION

Leveraging news about the area’s sugar white sand beaches, clear turquoise waters and myriad festivals, events and culinary offerings, the agency developed a robust media relations program, including informative newsletters and press releases to announce happenings, and conducted continuous outreach to journalists. Individual and group press trips were designed to compliment Signature Events.

RESULTS

Stories were featured in Jezebel, New York Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, and many more. In 18 months, Visit South Walton received over 1.3 billion media impressions and reached approximately $49 million in advertising equivalency.
